campuses of West Virginia

Three Campuses

Most WVU medical students undergo a portion of their training at these off-campus sites where they learn the demands of rural health care first-hand.

Morgantown

The main campus in Morgantown is located in the WVU Health Sciences Center, a large, modern medical complex that also includes the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health.

Charleston

WVU’s Charleston Campus is located near the Charleston Area Medical Center, the oldest regional medical centre in the U.S. With three hospitals in the CAMC system, a variety of clinical opportunities is provided at the largest hospital in the state.

Eastern

WVU’s Eastern Campus provides community-based, direct clinical experience and teaches students in a longitudinal fashion in collaboration with University Healthcare, a partner of Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg and Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson.
